Believe me, I am looking for positive proof, but most of today's ghost hunters are inspired by television and movies and not experts any any real field of research, let alone paranormal research. To make a simple comparison, the majority of paranormal researchers and ghost hunters, even the famous ones, have little or no scientific background. The reality is that most of these guys have about as much scientific success as a $9-an-hour janitor would have removing a brain tumor.
